Whistle down the wind

I think I might go to the mall and spend money. Yay!

Why, of all names in the world that start with H, would you name the tropical storm "Humberto"? I mean, I don't have a problem with that name, but really...

Well, everything seems to be going fine. LESM is coming tomorrow to visit me for a very short time. I don't know that we'll do anything all that scintillating.

So this guy in my Bio class that seems cool and is hot works at Best Buy, where I used to work. He must have started just after I quit. There's really no point to that except that, I mean, of all the random people I see tonight, he's one of them.

I think that's all I've got. Sorry.

Hard to believe I'm still posting now and then

Most of my fellow bloggers who began blogs around the same time I did are dead and gone. In a figurative sense, that is. Anyway, I don't know, it amuses me to surprise people with a little memo now and then. I just started fall classes a couple of weeks ago. I'm taking physics, calc 3, intro to evolution, and archaeology. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly. I've spent all weekend overdosing on Dexter, which, by the way, is a wonderful show. Tomorrow is Labor Day, only fitting, since I will, indeed, be laboring. That's fine - time and a half is better than laying about the house contemplating the sadness that is my life. What have I done since I last posted... well, I got A's in all my summer classes, yay for me. I went to California for a week for a good friends wedding, may they live in peace. Went out to West Virginia for my dad's sixtieth birthday party, which was quite fun. I obtained a roommate, which is working out quite well. Considering how badly such things can go, I actually feel as though I hit the jackpot. Amy and I get along very well. My cat says hello. He threw up rather randomly yesterday, but he appears to be no worse for the wear. Sometimes I wish I read more poetry. And philosophy. But I rather don't think I have the guts for it. Ah well, we can't all be eloquent. Most of us, if we write at all, simply meander about hoping to make a point once in a while. Well, I shan't speak for anyone else, but that's how I feel. Anyway, CSI: Miami starts in about five minutes, and I never miss a Sunday night episode if I can help it, despite the fact that they're all reruns. Until next time...
